Continuing Education Units

The Gamliel Institute's Administrative Dean, Rabbi Joe Blair, will assist students in applying for credits for Gamliel Institute courses taken. Each institution or organization has different criteria that they use to determine credit awarded for which coures. The Gamliel Institute will make its best efforts to comply with administrative requirements, including verification and reporting of completed hours, assisgnments and classes.

Continuing Education Units for Gamliel Institute courses are available through the Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health, HUC-JIR, for nurses, licensed clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists. The Kalsman Institute is BBS Provider No. PCE 1746 and BRN Provider No. CEP 13038.

Kavod v'Nichum's Gamliel Institute courses meet the qualifications for five (5) hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and LCSWs and five (5) contact hours for RNs, as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and the California Board of Registered Nursing.

The National Association of Jewish Chaplains will provide Continuing Education reporting forms for chaplains completing the courses.

An additional fee of $75/course is required.
