Gamliel Institute - Financial Support

The Gamliel Institute is part of Kavod v'Nichum, a 501(c)(3) U.S. federal tax exempt educational organization. Donations are tax deductible. Some organizational expenses are offset by registration and tuition fees and by sales of books. Foundation and individual grants have supported development of our courses. However ongoing organizational support for the Gamliel Institute, especially for student scholarships, is dependent on individual's contributions. Please consider supporting the Gamliel Institute. Donations of every size are gladly accepted.

We invite your to sponsor a course in memory of a loved one. For example, the Nechama course development was funded in part by the Sequoia Fund in memory of Barbara Fromm z"l. A contribution of $20,000 will help us develop new courses, and maintain existing courses. We will gratefully remember your loved one with an acknowledgement on the course materials and on our web site.

Contribute to the student scholarship fund. A number of scholarships are made possible by the Irving & Marian Rosenblum Tzedakah Fund of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation. A contribution of $5,000 provides a scholarship that enables a student to take the first five of our courses. A contribution of $10,000 provides a scholarship for the first five courses and Chevra Kadisha: International Applications, our capstone courses. 

Appreciation is expressed to the Covenant Foundation for its support of the Gamliel Institute. We also encourage you to support the Gamliel Institute by donating in honor or memory of your loved ones, and we will acknowledge them on the web site. Donations in any amount help us offset the costs and provide scholarships to individuals who take our courses. We also appreciate other support and contributions, both financial and in kind.
