The 5^th North American Chevra Kadisha Conference will take place at the Fantasyland Hotel in the West Edmonton Mall. Most conference sessions will take place in meeting rooms on the 2^nd floor of the Hotel. Room reservations at discount rates can be made by calling 1-800-737-3783 and asking for the “North American Chevra Kadisha Conference”. The $129 Canadian dollars ( = $110 U.S.) is the rate for the Superior room with a single (king size bed) or double (two queen size beds) and is available for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights June 10, 11, 12, 13). We are working on getting the same rates for Friday and Saturday evenings. We suggest booking early. The deadline for the special conference rate is May 11. For those desiring to save a little money, the West Edmonton Mall Inn is a motel about a 15 minute walk from the conference hotel. Room rates for June have not yet been published, but are likely to be about $100 per night. Contact them at 1-800-737-3783 (the same phone number as the Fantasyland).  There are other hotels about 15 minutes from the conference hotel. They include the Hilton Garden Inn, Royal West Edmonton Inn, or the West Harvest Inn.

West Edmonton Mall has over 800 stores, restaurants, attractions and services.
